From one sentence to the sky · Step 12 of 15
The age of the universe
One cycle. A reader who is aware measures about one cycle of the record.
How old is everything? The oldest light in the sky gives one answer, very precisely.
The count gives a clock. Its tick is the electron’s own time. Physics calls it the electron’s reduced Compton time.
One escape runs through eighteen doors, the eighteen held couplings of step seven. Each door is as transparent as the grip. That is the thread.
Then the duty. The eighteen give eighteen parts in twenty-one of every cycle. Stretch the thread by twenty-one over eighteen. That is one cycle.
Why should anyone measure one cycle? Because awareness comes late in a cycle. An aware reader measures about one.
So the claim is coarse on purpose. One cycle, give or take one twenty-first of it. The window is wide. The number sits well inside it. Anyone who reads the small gap as the claim has misread it.
What it stands on
What it predicts
The age of the universe, as one cycle, with a window one twenty-first of the cycle wide on either side.
Paper: AP46
What would kill it
KS-STRETCH.3 fires if the age of the universe, as the cosmological data settle it, differs from one cycle by more than one lane-time, 0.66 Gyr, in either direction. From the frozen document, 2026-09-04-age-KS-STRETCH.3. Frozen before the measurement.
On the record
Three steps in this chain are named in the paper and still owe their full derivation: the eighteen, the twenty-one over eighteen, and the electron’s reduced tick. All three were frozen before the measurement. None may be changed. Any other assembly is a new registration.
